Hello, World!

My name is Thao Nguyen. I am a PhD Candidate in Computer Science at Brown University, where I am advised by Stefanie Tellex in the Humans to Robots Laboratory. I am currently on the job market for positions at primarily undergraduate institutions.

Interests

My research is motivated by the desire to develop home and office robot assistants to help us with our daily tasks. My work has mostly focused on improving robots' natural language and visual understanding for effective human-robot interaction and task completion.

I enjoy various crafts such as origami, crochet, embroidery, and baking. I'm currently learning how to knit to unlock my full grandma-potential :) I also love taking care of my cat Milo and my many plants!
